Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we are unable to verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. How long we retain personal data
Terlouw Rotterdam does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods to the following personal data:
- Private and public limited companies: customers & suppliers — First name, last name and job title — Retention period: 7 years.
- General partnerships and sole traders: customers & suppliers — First name, last name, job title, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number — Retention period: 7 years.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Terlouw Rotterdam does not sell your data to third parties and only shares it where this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our instructions, we conclude a data processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Terlouw Rotterdam remains responsible for this processing.

Terlouw Rotterdam only uses technical and functional cookies, as well as analytical cookies that do not infringe on your privacy. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, and in any event within four weeks.

How we secure personal data
Terlouw Rotterdam takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification. Terlouw Rotterdam does not retain unnecessary personal data — only personal data that is required for carrying out our activities and for complying with our legal obligations.
