Service engineer (office)
Employment: Fulltime (40 hours)
Location: Terlouw IJmuiden
Terlouw IJmuiden is looking for an independently operating service technician in the field.
What are you going to do?
- independently carrying out maintenance and overhaul work on diesel engines, installations and systems;
- carrying out inspections;
- analyze and resolve mechanical and electrical faults;
- carrying out modifications to existing installations and equipment;
- commissioning and starting up of new and overhauled engines and installations;
- set/configure digital control of the motor;
Job requirements:
- MBO3+ working and thinking level (1st diesel mechanic or similar)
- Knowledge of Diesel & Electro technology
- Basic knowledge of computers (with regard to the application for diesel engines)
- At least 2 years of work experience in the shipping or industrial sector
- Driving License B
- Knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written
